Strong heat and a severe rainstorm couldn't keep the Ukes from presenting a phenomenal concert on the open air theatre in the ruin of the Hayn castle.

"Meet & Greet" - Dortmund 27th Feb 2010
Though the Ukes had to perform twice on that day in the Konzerthaus Dortmund, they still found the time to meet with a delegation of the 1st German Ukulele Club.

24. November 2009 - Tipi am Kanzleramt
From 21 - 29 November 2009 the Ukes performed their Christmas show "Never Mind the Tannenbaum" in the Tipi am Kanzleramt in Berlin.
A very special evening with everything, that you'd expect from a UOGB-Gig, including Christmas songs and confetti snow.

18th August 2009 - Royal Albert Hall - Prom 45
On 18th August 2009 the Ukes made their debut at the Royal Albert Hall at part of the BBC Proms. They had invited their audience to bring ukuleles and play along Beethoven's 'Ode to Joy'.
The official number of registered players was 992, but it's believed, that many more have brought their ukuleles.

25th July 2009 - Kurfürstliches Palais Trier
While the employees thoroughly cleaned the chairs, that had been wet from the rain in the afternoon, the Ukes did their soundcheck.
The acoustics in these high walls caused some trouble, but it had been worth the effort. On that evening the Ukes presented themselves in top form in front of a surprisingly jolly audience.
Update 30th Oct 2009: images no. 13, 50, 63-65, 67 and 84 have been added now.
18th April 2009 - Hugenottenhalle Neu-Isenburg
The photos in this album show the Ukes at the concert in the Hugenottenhalle in Neu-Isenburg on April 18th 2009. My friend Kurt, a talented amateur photographer, was nice enough to make them available for me.
He only had his fixed focus lens with him and we were sitting in the first row, so there are no photos that show all six of them, as the distance was too short for that.

A very surprising invitation directed me to Cecil Sharp House in Camden Town, London, where I was allowed to spend the afternoon with the Ukes . The photos from this extraordinary event can be found here.
I didn't want to publish an empty photo album, so I have borrowed a very interesting photo collection to begin with. The images below are courtesy of Dr. David Ellis and are his exclusive copyright.
